“Living the Dream” can be a reality; I’m living mine – a ten-year exploration of the European Alps, hiking the highest peaks and discovering the less well-known valleys and villages – but my dream will be entirely different to yours……so what is your Dream?
Don’t really have a “dream”? Don’t worry; we all have busy lives managing the demands of family, work and the myriad of other things that need to get done.
At TTR, we help develop these vaguest of dreams into what are called “Enduring Personal Visions” to convey they are on-going, they are most definitely yours, and they are “bigger picture” and have much more substance than dreams. We fast-track your thinking and planning and “join the dots”.
My name is Peter Jackson and I am a qualified Life Planning Consultant specialising in helping people transition to happy and fulfilling lives after many decades of work. Who wants to end up living a mediocre existence with little meaning or purpose. If you decide to proceed, we’ll work together to build your Transition to Retirement (TTR) Plan. Whilst I will be using various frameworks and tools to help you build your plan, it will be specific to you. Through our discussions, we’ll document your thoughts, ideas and dreams, and compile them into a TTR Plan. Believe me, writing things down and committing to paper crystallises and draws everything together into a coherent plan for the next stage of your life.
I’ve worked in many technical and sales roles across a number of industries. Over the last 10 years, my interest in organisational workforce analytics and planning including how generational demographics can give us a view of the future lead to the “daydream” of this concept in 2014 and to the development of this Transition to Retirement Program over the course of 2017 and 2018.
Having been on my own transition over the past five years, I know that experience will help you fast track your transition with the confidence and the assurance a happy and fulfilling life is absolutely achievable.
As Marcus Aurelius said over 2,000 years ago, “Remember this, that Very Little is required for a Happy Life”; you just need to nail down what that is.
